The 2018 Yellow Book: What You Need to Know

The Government Accountability Office issued the new 2018 edition of Government Auditing Standards (the Yellow Book). While it won’t be effective for financial audits until June 30, 2020, year • end audits, there are changes to the auditor independence rules that you will need to start considering now. This webcast will provide you with a summary of key changes to the standards, information about the Yellow Book independence rules that affect nonaudit services and requirements that differ from the AICPA standards. You will even get the opportunity to ask questions during the webcast.
