PowerPoint 2010: Creating Dynamic Financial Presentations incorporating Data, Graphs and Diagrams (133161-12)

Description

Most professionals are called upon to present information not only
verbally but with visual aids, handouts, and presentation software.
Applying graphics to represent or enhance data can help you make a
lasting impression on your audience. Whether you want to “wow” your
audience and/or convey a serious message simply, this course will give
you many examples of how to incorporate graphics into a presentation.
You can choose from the right pre-designed graphic or build your own
graphics and diagrams. PowerPoint and a variety of software applications
will be discussed. (Format: hands-on instructor-led training)

  1. Place a graphic and determine which one works best with your information
  2. Understand the impact of a variety of graphic symbols and colors Compare uses of chart types Apply Excel's new color scales and icon sets to visually spot trends in data
  3. Learn how to present analyzed data in graphic form Add a secondary pie chart and a secondary axis to present a breakout of multiple sets of data Constrast a pie chart with sideways bar ranking Use flow chart symbols and connectors to create work flow diagrams Add data tables to charts to quickly present the numeric values Incorporate photos, ClipArt, logos, video, sound Utilize time-saving photo adjustment tools Use PowerPoint and Visio to save you time with flow charts and diagrams Use stencils and templates for workflow and organization charts Use freely distributed pre-designed SmartArt templates Use PowerPoint features to place graphics into a presentation Use appropriate animation to enhance and control visual display
  4. Learn the new PowerPoint features to package multimedia files with your presentation
  5. Learn how to link data ranges or charts between Excel and Word and PowerPoint
  6. Learn how to create effective handouts
  7. Learn important presenter tips for controlling the visual information during the presentation and delivering the presentation effectively
  8. Learn how to convert your PowerPoint presentation into a video file
