Internal control assessments are the foundations of effective audits. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) systems are the means by which firms identify appropriate internal controls.
This course will address the latest developments in internal control and ERM standards, guidelines, and practices. It will also cover recent cases of firms that have been “in the news” because of faulty practices, and those that have addressed challenges successfully because of effective practices.
The content emphases quantitative research methods, simulation analysis, performance measurement, crisis management, and investment valuation.
Learn to incorporate advanced statistical methods into an intermediate level ERM plan in order to integrate its analyses across all relevant organizational functions
Corporate officers and Board members with oversight responsibilities for the ERM function, as well as senior technical specialists in the field of risk management
Familiarity with enterprise risk management concepts.
