CAC: Divorce Tax, Financial Planning, and the CPAs Role (140068-14)

Description

This program will include a two hour presentation by Debbie May, CPA,
CFP, CDFA on the tax and financial planning aspects of a divorce
engagement. This will be followed by a two hour moderated panel
discussion with three well known Montgomery County Family Law Attorneys.
The discussion will be about the CPA’s Role in assisting with
collaborative and mediated divorce cases and the legal aspects of
helping a client choose a divorce process. The attorneys have
substantial experience in all divorce processes including litigation.
This program would be appropriate for any CPA wanting to be familiar and
aware of divorce issues and processes as well as CPA’s who are currently
working in the divorce area or desiring to work in the divorce area.
