Advanced Concepts in Cybersecurity

Description
This 2-hour webcast is intended to give CPAs a solid foundation in understanding the principal issues of cybersecurity. Building on the previous webcast “Applying Cybersecurity,” it addresses several more advanced topics that are relevant to today’s cybersecurity world. It starts with a discussion on centralized system management and monitoring, which generally occurs in an organization’s security operations center (SOC). It then addresses forensic and malware analysis, which are two highly technical niche fields that are at times necessary to undertake. Next, there is a discussion about popular security testing methodologies and what they can accomplish. And lastly, the webcast introduces the subject of software security and how it is practiced today.
