Employee Benefit Plans (EBPs) present challenges to the CPA firms engaged to audit them. In addition to the dissimilarity they pose from the corporate audit, CPA firms performing EBP audits are subject to the scrutiny of the Department of Labor (DOL).

The Employee Benefit Plan Audit Conference equips CPAs in public practice with guidance on how to perform a quality audit of an EBP. This conference will cover the Basic Track of the 2020 Employee Benefit Plan Conference held on May 11, 2020. Attendees will walk through the required audit procedures for CPAs who are new to auditing EBPs.
