Employee Benefit Plans (EBPs) present challenges to the CPA firms engaged to audit them. In addition to the dissimilarity they pose from the corporate audit, CPA firms performing EBP audits are subject to the scrutiny of the Department of Labor (DOL).
The Employee Benefit Plan Audit Conference equips CPAs in public practice with guidance on how to perform a quality audit of an EBP.
The conference offers two tracks – Basic and Intermediate/Advanced – each dealing with issues that impact EBPs.
The DOL notes they find the highest audit quality deficiency rates in firms performing less than 100 EBP audits. Come learn about the many specialized compliance requirements and audit and accounting rules that affect EBPs to better equip your firm for performing quality audits. Also, receive updates on EBP legislative and regulatory issues, including current developments at the DOL.
*If you choose to attend the simulcast, please note that only certain sessions will be offered in this format.* Those sessions are indicated by the * in the agenda below (intermediate/advanced track).
