Employee Benefit Plans are important to the hiring and retention of employees for any business. However, they do present challenges to the CPAs engaged to audit them and Plan Sponsors who administer them. The Employee Benefit Plan Conference equips CPAs in public and private sectors with guidance to better audit and operate Employee Benefit Plans (EBP). The conference offers three tracks (Basic, Intermediate/Advanced and Plan Sponsors), each dealing with issues that impact EBPs.
The Basic track walks through the required audit procedures for CPAs who are new to auditing EBPs. The Intermediate/Advanced track provides CPAs an update on accounting and auditing issues, and this year will feature a session where attendees can share best practices on EBP audits with other practitioners. The Plan Sponsor track will feature sessions on fiduciary, legislative and IRS developments that impact the administration of these plans. Learn more about accounting, auditing, and reporting requirements, and receive updates on EBP legislative and regulatory issues, including current developments at the Department of Labor. ”
*If you choose to attend the simulcast, please note that only certain sessions will be offered in this format.*
