Vista is coming. Microsoft’s new operating system is scheduled to be broadly released on Jan. 30. But will it help CPAs succeed?

Depends upon who you ask. Rick Telberg, president and chief executive of Bay Street Group, outlines some of the pros and cons of the new OS in a recent column, and there has been a lot of buzz about Vista lately. But some CPAs are skeptical. In a comment on Telberg’s blog, Buffalo’s Gregory K. Meyer says he is wary of the “unprecedented control” Vista gives Microsoft.
