We all have our job-interview horror stories to tell. I forgot to shave before one of mine; I didn’t realize it until I looked in rear-view mirror on my way home afterward.

We can all rest easy in the knowledge, though, that whatever stupid things we’ve done during our interviews, they were nowhere near as stupid as CareerBuilder.com’s 10 most outrageous interview mistakes. Among my favorites:

• “Candidate answered cell phone and asked the interviewer to leave her own office because it was a ‘private’ conversation.”
• “Candidate told the interviewer he was fired for beating up his last boss.”
• “Candidate asked the interviewer for a ride home after the interview.”
• “When applicant was offered food before the interview, he declined, saying he didn’t want to line his stomach with grease before going out drinking.”
