Maryland CPAs are everywhere these days!

The latest sighting is in The Daily Record, which posted an article about the profession at the top of its home page on March 27. Titled “Cool People Apply: Profession Looks to Update its Buttoned-Down Image,” the article discusses the video that was produced recently by the AICPA and the MACPA, featuring interviews with a number of MACPA members from around the state. Since its production, the video has been viewed dozens of times on YouTube.

The article identifies the video, Second Life and this blog among the many ways the profession is trying to reach out to students who may be considering careers in accounting. Read more about these and other recruitment-and-retention efforts on The Daily Record’s Web site.
