Robert Herjavec, one of the investor-entrepreneurs on ABC Television’s Emmy-Award winning show ‘Shark Tank,’ joins with Barry Melancon, CEO of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (the Association) and the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), on a November 1 webcast on cybersecurity.
The Association – a 650,000 member global accounting body consisting of members of the AICPA and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) – is presenting the webcast free of charge.
Herjavec is not only well-known as one of the stars of ‘Shark Tank’ but is also the founder of information security firm Herjavec Group. He has served as a Cybersecurity Advisor for the Government of Canada, participated in the White House Summit on Cybersecurity and is a member of the US Chamber of Commerce Task Force for Cybersecurity
In a recent interview with CNBC, Herjavec gave 10 easy online safety hacks you’re probably not doing.
He will share further insights on the November 1 webcast, together with Melancon, who will share related developments from the AICPA aimed at enhancing confidence in business’ cybersecurity risk management.
