New MACPA.org Launching 4/1! Stay tuned for a brand new online experience.

PdaSaturdays at CPA Success are usually spent reviewing online tools that can help increase our productivity. Keep in mind that we do not endorse any of these services. We simply offer them up for your consideration. Do your own homework and find the service that best meets your needs.

I’m totally ripping off the idea for today’s blog from Chris Jenkins, tech god for the Ohio Society of CPAs.

Chris is a regular on the CPA conference circuit, where he delivers presentations titled “The Mobile Warrior Toolkit.” You might have seen him at the MACPA’s first-ever Maryland Business and Accounting Expo.

During his sessions, Chris often promotes MyPhoneFinder.com, so I thought I’d check it out. If you’re shopping around for a new mobile device, you should, too.

MyPhoneFinder lets you compare devices that have the features you need in the price range you want. Need a flip phone with good battery life, Bluetooth capabilities and a music player? Or a GPS-enabled PDA with a QWERTY keyboard that costs less than $100? MyPhoneFinder will show you all of your options in an easy-to-read, side-by-side display. It will even give you links to sites where you can buy the phone you want.

Not surprisingly, the site is powered by MyRatePlan.com, which helps you comparison-shop for cell phone service providers.

It seems like a pretty user-friendly way to shop for a new device. Do you know of any other sites that offer similar services?
