Here’s one more weapon for your tax season arsenal.

The MACPA has partnered with Avalara to launch the Accountant’s Resource Center. Available at no cost to MACPA members, the ARC is packed with information “related to sales and use tax compliance, including updated information on pending legislation, a forms library, rates tables, and links to valuable sales tax and use tax blogs and other information.”

Members will also find district maps, forms, and other useful information to help determine the proper taxability of most sales transactions.

The ARC also serves as a repository of regulatory updates, whitepapers, and articles from leading taxation experts around the world, all related to sales and use tax and value-added tax, or VAT.

“As Avalara expands its growing international business tax offerings, the ARC will contain increasing amounts of important information regarding VAT regulations and legislation changes,” Avalara reports.

First-time users will need to register their names and e-mail addresses and choose a password. Check the “remember me” box to automatically access the ARC the next time you visit.
