With much consideration and discussion with instructors, facility managers, and MACPA staff we have decided to lean on the side of caution and cancel most public seminars scheduled for Monday, October 29, 2012 and Tuesday, October 30, 2012.
As you may know, MACPA rarely cancels courses as we know many of our members are in need of CPE in a timely manner. However, we feel Hurricane Sandy has presented us with an unprecedented situation. We do not wish to compete with mother nature and want to keep everyone safe. Therefore, we have made this decision to cancel the following courses:

Get the latest updates on Hurricane Sandy from Maryland Emergency Management. Earlier today, Governor Martin O’Malley issued an Executive Order declaring a State of Emergency for all Maryland counties as the State continues to monitor Hurricane Sandy and its potential impact. The declaration gives the state flexibility to activate the Maryland National Guard and provide assistance to local emergency managers.
