Earlier this week we had the hearing on SB 287 in the House Economic Matters Committee. This is the bill that did not make it through last year in time for sine die (the close of the general assembly).
The hearing went well, no opposition, Harry Loleas, Deputy Commissioner of Occupational & Professional Licensing from the DLLR did a great job testifying and we got to see several members of the committee who acknowledged our testimony.
We have sixteen days to get this voted out of committee and through the house. We are well ahead of where we were last year. Stay tuned.
