After Hurricane Sandy devastated a large portion of the East Coast, we continue to count our blessings that Maryland was by in large spared the worst of the storm. However, the Governor’s Office has informed us that our neighbors on the Eastern Shore in Somerset County, Crisfield, MD in particular, sustained significant damage from the storm. These communities are in desperate need of our assistance. Many people have lost their homes and are now staying in shelters.
