New MACPA.org Launching 4/1! Stay tuned for a brand new online experience.

Here’s some good news for employers and employees alike: A recent survey found that most employees are satisfied with their bosses’ performance, and six out of 10 said they trust their managers. (Executives at the very top of the corporate ladder didn’t fare as well, though.)

This speaks directly to an earlier post in which MACPA Executive Director Tom Hood wrote, “With our severe shortage of staff, we need to focus more efforts in retention and staff satisfaction to keep the good people we have.”

The lesson appears to be this: Good bosses have satisfied staffs, and that results in higher productivity and a better work environment for everyone.

What do you think about your boss? If you’re a manager, what would your employees say about you?
